Create Your Account
Navigate to the signup page
Visit the ApplyTrack signup page or click Maximize My Search from the homepage.You’ll see the signup form with the heading “Initialize your career engine” and the tagline about joining 10,000+ high-performance candidates.
Complete the signup form
Fill in the following fields:
- First Name: Your first name (e.g., “John”)
- Last Name: Your last name (e.g., “Doe”)
- Work Email: Your professional email address (e.g., “[email protected]”)
- Choose Password: A secure password (minimum 8 characters)
Sign up with email or OAuth
Choose one of the following options:Option 1: Email SignupClick the blue Start Free Deployment button to create your account with email.Option 2: Quick OAuthUse the social login buttons below the divider that says “Or expedite with”:
- Github: Connect with your GitHub account
- Google: Connect with your Google account
By signing up, you agree to ApplyTrack’s Terms of Protocol and Data Privacy.
Access your dashboard
After successful signup, you’ll be redirected to your Dashboard Overview.Your dashboard displays:
- Welcome message: “Welcome back, [Your Name]. You have 3 interviews coming up this week.”
- Four stat cards showing:
- Total Applied: Track all applications
- Interviews: Monitor scheduled rounds
- Offer Rate: Compare against industry average (1.8%)
- Active Pipeline: Applications currently in discussion
- Recent Activity feed
- Upcoming Rounds sidebar
- Quick Command action buttons
Dashboard Navigation
Your ApplyTrack command center is organized into two main sections in the left sidebar:Inventory Section
- Overview - Dashboard with stats and recent activity
- Applications - Full list of all tracked applications (shows count badge: 142)
- Interviews - Manage scheduled interview rounds
- Analytics - Performance insights and tracking metrics

- Market Insights - Industry trends and opportunity analysis
- Salary Engine - Compensation benchmarking tools

Track Your First Application
ApplyTrack offers multiple ways to track job applications:Method 1: Automatic Browser Extension Capture
Install the browser extension
After signup, you have instant access to the ApplyTrack browser extension.The extension’s content script automatically detects successful applications on 200+ job boards including:
- Indeed
- AngelList
- Greenhouse-powered career pages
- Lever-powered career pages
- And many more
Apply to a job on any supported platform
Navigate to your preferred job board and submit an application as you normally would.When you click “Submit Application” or equivalent, ApplyTrack’s content script detects the submission.
Method 2: Manual Quick Add
Click the 'New Track' button
From your dashboard, locate the Quick Command section in the right sidebar.Click the New Track button (blue icon with briefcase).
Enter application details
Fill in the manual entry form:
- Company Name: e.g., “Anthropic”
- Role Title: e.g., “AI Researcher”
- Application Date: When you applied
- Job URL: Link to the posting (optional)
- Status: Select from dropdown (Applied, Interviewing, Offer, etc.)
Method 3: Email Synchronization
Connect your email
Click the Sync Mail button in the Quick Command section.ApplyTrack supports secure OAuth integration with:
- Gmail
- Outlook
View Your Applications
After tracking your first application:Check Recent Activity
Your dashboard’s Recent Activity section displays your most recent applications.Each application card shows:
- Company initial icon (e.g., “A” for Anthropic)
- Company name and role title
- Time since application (e.g., “2h ago”)
- Status badge (color-coded):
- Applied: Gray
- Interviewing: Blue
- Technical Round: Amber
- Offer Extended: Emerald
- Quick actions menu (three dots)
Navigate to full Applications list
Click Applications in the left sidebar to see all tracked applications.The Applications view includes:
- Header showing “All (142)” and “Active (12)” with pulsing blue indicator
- Search and Filter controls
- Complete list of applications organized by date
