Creating Your Documenso Account
Getting started with Documenso is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account and start signing documents.Choose Your Sign-Up Method
You can sign up using:
- Email and Password: Enter your email address and create a secure password
- Google SSO: Sign up with your Google account (if enabled)
- Microsoft SSO: Sign up with your Microsoft account (if enabled)
- OIDC Provider: Sign up with a custom OIDC provider (if enabled)
Verify Your Email
After signing up with email, you’ll receive a verification email. Click the verification link to activate your account.
Check your spam folder if you don’t see the verification email within a few minutes.
Understanding Your Account Structure
When you create a Documenso account, you automatically get:- Personal Workspace: Your default workspace for managing documents
- Personal Team: A team associated with your account for document organization
- User Profile: Your identity across all documents and organizations

SSO Integration
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you may receive an invitation to join via your organization’s authentication portal. This allows you to:- Sign in using your organization’s identity provider

Troubleshooting
Email Verification Not Received
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify you entered the correct email address
- Request a new verification email from the login page
Password Requirements
Your password must be:- At least 8 characters long
- Secure and unique to Documenso
Consider using a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password.
