Challenge
As the team and its commercial offerings grew, Laravel needed a platform that could empower more internal contributors, simplify updates, and use AI to lighten the support load, without compromising the clarity, voice, and quality its community expects.
Solution
Laravel deployed its first set of refreshed documentation on Mintlify in three days without pulling in engineers. Out-of-the-box components and layouts did most of the work, and a bit of custom CSS preserved the design the community recognizes. Bi-directional Git sync lets developers edit documentation without leaving their IDEs, so the rapidly growing team can contribute without sacrificing quality. Mintlify's AI search and chat let the community self-serve answers and significantly reduce the support team's workload.
