The Mintlify Admin MCP server can now leave comments and suggestions, and its edits no longer need a pull request. Connect any MCP-compatible agent, like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or ChatGPT, and it can edit pages, flag changes for your team to review, and publish small fixes straight to main.
Until now, every MCP change went through a git branch and a pull request. Your agent could draft, but someone still had to find the PR and merge it before anything shipped. Now branches commit automatically and show up in the web editor, so the work lands where your team already reviews changes.
Your agent works where your team works
Instead of rewriting pages outright, your agent can propose changes for a person to accept. With these additions, the MCP covers everything the Mintlify agent does. On our internal evals, Claude Code connected to the MCP scores roughly the same as the editor agent, so you can use whichever tool you already have open.
Faster, leaner tool calls
We optimized every tool call for speed and token usage, so long editing sessions cost less and finish sooner.
Get started
- Add
https://mcp.mintlify.comas an MCP server in your client. - Sign in with your Mintlify account when prompted.
- Ask your agent for a change, like "Update the authentication guide to reflect our new token expiry and leave a comment for the API team to review."
See the Mintlify MCP docs for setup by client and the full tool list.

Bring your own skills to the Mintlify agent
You can now upload custom skills to the agent in the web editor. Give it your style guide, review checklist, or page templates once, and it uses them whenever a task calls for them.
