Adding to Favorites
Mark any audiobook as a favorite to save it for later:Tap the heart icon
In the top-right corner of the screen, tap the heart icon. When empty, the audiobook is not in your favorites.
Viewing Your Favorites
Access your saved audiobooks quickly from the home screen:- Scroll to the Favourites section on the home screen
- Your favorite audiobooks appear in a horizontal scrollable list
- Each shows:
- Cover artwork
- Title
- Author name
The Favourites section only appears on the home screen when you have at least one audiobook marked as favorite. If you have no favorites, the section is hidden.
Playing from Favorites
Start listening to a favorite audiobook:- Tap any audiobook in the Favourites section on the home screen
- The audiobook detail page opens
- Tap the Play button to start listening
Removing from Favorites
There are two ways to remove audiobooks from your favorites:Method 1: From Audiobook Details

Confirm removal
A dialog appears asking “Are you sure you want to remove this audiobook from favourites?” Tap Remove.
Removing an audiobook from favorites does not delete any downloaded files or affect your listening history. It only removes the bookmark.
Organizing Your Favorites
While Aradia doesn’t currently support folders or categories for favorites, here are some tips for keeping your wishlist organized:Use favorites for different purposes

- Currently reading: Keep audiobooks you’re actively listening to in favorites for quick access
- Want to listen: Add interesting titles you discover while browsing
- Re-listen queue: Favorite audiobooks you loved and want to hear again
Regular cleanup

Periodically review your favorites and remove audiobooks you’ve finished or are no longer interested in. This keeps your list focused and useful.
Combine with downloads
Combine with downloads
Favorite audiobooks you plan to download for offline listening. This creates a convenient “download queue” you can work through when on WiFi.

Sharing Favorites
While Aradia doesn’t have built-in sharing, you can recommend favorite audiobooks to friends:- Open the audiobook from your Favourites
- Note the title and author from the detail page
- Share this information with friends who also use Aradia or LibriVox
- They can search for it using the Search feature
All audiobooks in Aradia come from public domain sources (primarily LibriVox), so any title you find will be available to other users as well.
Favorites Persist Across Sessions
Your favorites are stored locally on your device and persist:- After closing and reopening the app
- After device restarts
- Even when offline
Favorites are stored in the app’s local database. If you uninstall Aradia, your favorites will be lost. Consider noting down your favorite titles before uninstalling.
