Musika is a powerful music streaming app that connects to YouTube Music, giving you access to millions of songs, live performances, remixes, and more. This guide will help you get started with the basics.Basic Playback Controls
Musika provides all the essential playback controls you need to enjoy your music.Play/Pause
Tap the play button to start playback or pause to temporarily stop the music. The button toggles between play and pause states.
Skip Tracks
Use the skip forward and skip backward buttons to navigate through your queue. Long press to seek within the current track.
Playback Modes
Shuffle Mode
Randomize the order of tracks in your queue:- Tap the shuffle icon in the Now Playing screen
- When enabled, tracks will play in random order
- Tap again to disable shuffle and return to sequential playback
Repeat Mode
Control how playback repeats:- Repeat Off: Playback stops after the queue ends
- Repeat All: The entire queue repeats continuously
- Repeat One: The current track repeats indefinitely

Gapless Playback
Musika supports gapless playback for seamless transitions between tracks, perfect for albums and DJ mixes.Audio Effects

Playback Speed Control
Adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 2.0x:- Open the Now Playing screen
- Tap the playback speed icon
- Select your desired speed or use the slider for precise control
Background Playback
Musika continues playing music even when the app is minimized or your screen is locked.Lock Screen Controls

To ensure uninterrupted playback, make sure Musika has permission to run in the background and isn’t being battery optimized by your device.

Home Feed
Your personalized home feed shows:- Recommended music based on your listening history

- Recently played tracks and albums

Browse Categories
Explore music through different categories:- Charts: Popular music charts by region
- Moods & Genres: Music organized by mood and genre
- New Releases: The latest music releases

Set Musika to automatically stop playback after a specified duration:Lyrics
View synchronized lyrics while listening:- Tap the lyrics icon in the Now Playing screen
- Lyrics will scroll automatically in sync with the music
- Tap any line to jump to that part of the song
- Swipe up for fullscreen lyrics view
Lyrics are sourced from LRCLIB and YouTube. If lyrics aren’t available for a song, the button will be disabled.
Troubleshooting
Playback Issues
If you experience playback problems:- Check your internet connection
- Clear the app cache in Settings > Storage
- Restart the app
- Ensure you’re not in data saver mode if on mobile data
Background Playback Stops
If playback stops when you minimize the app:- Go to your device Settings > Apps > Musika
- Disable battery optimization for Musika
- Enable “Allow background activity”
- Ensure notification permissions are granted
Poor Audio Quality
To improve audio quality:- Connect to WiFi instead of cellular data
- Check streaming quality settings in the app
- Disable data saver mode
- Ensure your internet connection is stable
