Using the Calendar View

Understanding Status Colors

The calendar uses color-coding to show delivery status at a glance:
  • 🟡 Pendiente (Amber) - Awaiting supplier confirmation (may change)
  • 🔵 Confirmado (Blue) - Confirmed by supplier (reliable date)
  • 🟠 En Revisión (Orange) - Under review (possible issues)
  • 🟣 En Tránsito (Purple) - Shipment in transit (arriving soon)
  • 🟢 Recibido (Green) - Delivered to warehouse (ready for testing)
  • 🔴 Cancelado (Red) - Order cancelled
Focus on Confirmado (blue) and En Tránsito (purple) statuses for your testing schedule - these are most likely to arrive as planned.

Request Calendar Update

Ask coordinator to add special testing requirements in the Comentarios field

Working with CEDIS

1

Share Testing Schedule

Inform warehouse team which deliveries require immediate testing upon arrival
2

Request Sample Notification

Ask CEDIS to notify lab when materials marked for testing arrive
3

Coordinate Sample Collection

Arrange timing for collecting samples from warehouse to lab

Common Use Cases

Planning for New Supplier Materials

When you see a delivery from an unfamiliar supplier:
1

Check Supplier Name

Open the requisition details to see the supplier name

Prepare Enhanced Testing

Plan for more comprehensive testing protocol for first-time suppliers
4

Allocate Extra Time

Schedule additional time for potential re-testing or validation
5

Contact Coordinator

Ask if there are any special quality requirements or certifications needed

Managing High-Volume Weeks

When the calendar shows multiple deliveries on the same days:
1

Identify Clusters

Note which days have 3+ deliveries scheduled

Prioritize Testing

Determine which materials are most critical for production
3

Request Coordination

Contact coordinator to see if any deliveries can be rescheduled

Best Practices

Check Calendar Daily

Review at least twice per day (morning and mid-afternoon) to catch any updates

Plan 3 Days Ahead

Always look 3 days forward to prepare for upcoming tests

Focus on Confirmed Status

Prioritize “Confirmado” (blue) events - these dates are most reliable

Communicate Early

Contact coordinators early if you see potential capacity issues

Reporting Issues

If you notice any problems with calendar data:
1

Document the Issue

Note what appears incorrect (wrong date, missing information, etc.)
2

Contact Coordinator

Reach out to procurement coordinator with specific details
3

Provide Context

Explain how the issue affects your testing schedule
4

Suggest Solution

If applicable, recommend what information should be corrected
Do not rely solely on the calendar for critical testing schedules. Always maintain direct communication with CEDIS and coordinators for high-priority materials.
